QuestionCan off-campus readers holding the “Interlibrary Loan Cards” use or borrow the ASRS collections/books?
Answer

Since the off-campus readers are unable to submit the request form online, the Interlibrary loan card readers who wish to access the ASRS Service Center's collection must apply in person at the Service Center desk and use the SLIM system to request the books currently stored in the ASRS.

Please note that the service hours for requesting books out from the storage facility onsite are Monday to Friday 09:00-16:40 (no outbound service on closing days).

  • "ASRS Special Collections," "ASRS Reference," and "ASRS Retrieval Collections" are not loanable and can only be used on-site at the Service Center.
  • "ASRS General Collections" is loanable; the off-campus readers holding the Interlibrary Loan cards may use the card to borrow "ASRS General Collections" from the ASRS service center.
