QuestionWhere are the newspapers?
Answer
  1. Please check the library catalog (SLIM) to confirm the titles of newspapers held by the library, the coverage years and dates, and their locations.
  2. Main Library  (Floor Layout):
    • Daily Newspapers & Newspapers of the current month  Available in the "Current Newspaper Area" on the 1st floor.
    • Newspapers from the Previous Two Months  These are sent for binding, which takes approximately one month. Once bound, they are stored in the "Compact Stack Room" on the 2nd floor.
(During the binding period, if needed, please use the electronic newspaper databases or consult other libraries. We apologize for any inconvenience.)
    • Bound Newspaper Volumes — Mainly located in the "Compact Stack Room" on the 2nd floor. (Please refer to the library catalog for specific holdings.)
    • Newspaper Microfilms — Available for access in the "Special Collections  Area" on the 5th floor.
  3. Social Sciences Library (Koo Chen-Fu Memorial Library) subscribes to print newspapers, but only retains the current month. The Medical Library no longer subscribes to print newspapers.
  4. NTU Library also subscribes to several electronic newspaper databases. You can access them via the library's database webpage. On the left-hand side, filter by "Content Type" and select "Newspapers" to search.
